Pt. 9 - Headache day.

DAY 21 - April 4th, 2020

Coffee + Creativity     Three weeks at home today. Seems like less. Like we've been on a nice, long Christmas break.

I woke up with cramps today, and as the morning went on, a headache joined the party. I took a Tylenol and a nap but it still hurts a little and now I have that nap hangover feeling. Ibuprofen would have worked better, but I was hesitant to take it because there's been some evidence that it irritates the virus and while I think we're all okay, there's asymptomatic people out there so you never know. My headache is probably just hormonal or tension. It's just that I feel unable to do most of the things I planned to today, so I'm annoyed. The kids' schooling takes so much out of me during the week that I have a hard time getting through much else. Most days I zone out after school time. I want more time to be creative and work on organizing life. I have zero motivation for it right now, though.

I ended up making a caramel coffee using caramel ice cream topping and whipped cream and browsed creative classes on Bluprint. There's a ton of creative instructions and techniques to explore.

My mom stopped by to pick up her share of the produce order we placed with Produce Peddlers. We split a huge order of potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, onions and bananas with her and Mal and it was only about $28 each. That's a lot of cheap food! There's so much. While she was here, she left some bones for Galli and took a picture of the boys through the window. My Dad called shortly after and we talked for quite a while. It's such a weird time and life can get so complicated, but it was so good to talk to both of my parents today.

I forgot to mention yesterday that we got an exercise bike. It arrived in the afternoon and we took it downstairs but Matt hasn't put it together yet. He's been doing workouts and virtual TKD classes and I really haven't done much of anything. I'm hoping this motivates me to start being a little active with some biking and yoga. Despite the isolation, summer is still coming and these legs aren't getting any thinner!!
