Pt. 23 - A Sunshine Day.

DAY 50 - May 3rd, 2020

Wow, 50 days sure feels like a milestone. Especially when you consider that summer vacation is usually 70-75ish days long. We've all still been working on school, of course, but we've been home together for almost as many days as summer break. We still have another 120+ days of not leaving home to go to school (assuming we start as planned in September).

It's gorgeous out today - although a bit more windy than I'd like. It's beautifully sunny and in the upper 60's. I'm at the table on the patio chatting with our Instacart shopper, making some sun tea, and I'm about to write some cards to send around (if the wind doesn't blow everything away first!)

                                           - - - - -

We spent most of this day outdoors and it was so nice! We certainly absorbed oodles of sunshine and fresh air today. I wrote a bunch of letters and cards, which felt good. I'm excited to send them all. We got some more groceries, did a little cleaning and week prep, and now we're winding down for the night with some ice cream and a nature documentary. I've also got an at-home facial on deck before bed.
